Hello Stilligans,

I had so much to do this holiday weekend - but with the electricity going in and out, I'm just hoping I make it thru this weekend at all. The winds have been picking up and the rain comes and goes. On the news they're showing people in the water at the beaches. Pre-stills I would have been one of those nutty people, in fact yesterday after getting off of work early, we went to the pool swimming between all the lawn chairs and umbrellas (that's where they put stuff for hurricanes). It was kind of fun, like an olympic event to get from one end of the pool to the other. Now, I'm sitting watching the wind. It's calmed a bit - between squalls.

I have a cold. Started yesterday, sneezing every few minutes. I slept on the couch so as not to bother the hubby. I went to pick up all my meds yesterday - so I won't have to worry about that if the computers go down.

Feeling scattered. I'm not worried about the hurricane as much as feeling inconvienced. Maybe it's the cold, I don't know. The computer keeps dying. Wondering if the electric oven will work for dinner later. I have a freezer full of food, hope everything stays ok. This is my first real brush with a storm like this. Maybe I should stop writing for now. For any of you in the storms path, I have you in my prayers. For everyone else, you're in my prayers as well, so there!

Take care all.

wicked for some.

Al!
