Guest guest
Personally...I think you were more on the money with the build up of toxins in the jaw. It makes almost too much sense. I know that I have tons of fillings, and I have a "stiff" jaw that feels like it needs to be "cracked" all the time...I grit my teeth a lot and also have a tendency to rub my chin when I'm in deep thought. Yes, OT would probably help to relieve some of it...but it's not getting to the cause! Just my two cents!
Guest guest
Yes, I believe OT/sensory intregation works well for these kids. We were going on a regular basis, but we stopped due to the fact that our insurance ran out for the yearly visits. Its a new year and we will probably start again. Anything that will help our kids we'll do.
Guest guest
I wonder how many people that have TMJ syndrome (jaw syndrome) really have toxic mercury affecting them. Of course, the doctors will only treat the symptoms and not the cause! > From my own experience with Amalgams, I started having alot of jaw pain after having 16 of them removed. They are really sensitive to cold or hot foods as well as to any foods that require a great deal of chewing. Sometimes when eating hot foods it starts with jaw pain and I will end up with ear pain or a headache. I've also wondered about mercury in the jaw area! Maybe can tell us how you test for it, since he knows he has it in his jaws? Patti
Guest guest
Good point. I was diagnosed with TMJ only after having braces for 3 years. I don't know if the metal contained mercury, but I do know that they contained nickel. Kris aka@...
