Kombucha in Refrigerator

Hi EveryOne,

While I recommend refrigerating your bottled Kombucha tea, if you bottle in

glass, in general it is best to let your Kombucha Colonies sit in an extra

jar of KT at room temperature. They will keep in a jar, covered with KT and

a cloth, for months if not years, as long as you top up the tea from time to

time.

If you receive a Kombucha Colony that has been refrigerated or you have

refrigerated some of your own, they will probably work just fine but you

will need to give them extra time to get going again.

Happy New Year and Happy Brewing:-))

Peace, Love and Harmony,

Bev
