Guest guest
I hope you are feeling better Mike Subject: Under the weatherTo: asthma Date: Sunday, April 5, 2009, 6:37 PM I've been quiet for the past few days and thought I should check in. My peaks have been low for a couple of weeks. I saw my pulmo last Friday and she said I have pneumonitis. Basically, my lungs act like they have pneumonia, but there is no infection. She thinks it has been caused by GERD. It is caused by inhaling some irritant into the lungs. My first thought was that she was wrong and that the ash in the air was the culprit. My numbers had dropped markedly before the eruption, so she may be right. Golly, I hate admitting that I (humble soul that I am) might be wrong. Anyway, should my peaks fall below 400 I am to go to the er. I have been hovering between 410 and 430. Using my neb, rescu puffers, Intal, Symbicort, Theophylin, Prednisone.. ... I'll check in soon. If I go to the hospital, I don't have a laptop to take with, so I'll have my darling beloved check in for me. Until alter.Mike
