Guest guest
Thanks Alana, I appreciate the response. We're not treating ourselves for GERD. We've both had endoscopies done, my 6yr old has had 3 scopes done. My 9yr old son had esophagitis showing GERD and I have severe esophagitis showing the starting of Barretts Esophagus. They had to stretch my esophagus at the same time because it was swollen. We all also have asthma, tested and confirmed. What I really was asking is if anyone had any luck with Symbicort. Is there anyone with children with asthma on this group, or am I in the wrong place? Debbie
Guest guest
I know there are several with children with asthma here. Somebody respond please. As far as Symbicort goes. It is what I take. We tried several different controller medicines before settling with Symbicort. Although I still have exacerbations from time to time (my asthma is very severe and very hard to control), the Symbicort has definitely helped. I no longer have the chronic cough at all. Guest guest
Yes I do my daughter has severe asthma and is on abuterol every 4-6 hours as needed and Singular and Pulmocort once a day. She has been hospitalized for it 3 times since being diagnosed. I still have a hard time with it and hope she grows out of it. > > Thanks Alana, I appreciate the response.
