Guest guest
Carol - bleach I don't use it either. Something is very wrong with that stuff - it goes right up in you and you feel like permanent damage is happening. Alana > > In all my research with this topic, i have found Clorox/ bleach is one of the worst triggers for asthmatics. I was amazing how fast my asthma cleared up and how much better i feel now that i dont have that stuff in my home! And also the laundry detergents are bad for asthmatics. Most cleaners from stores are toxic for ppl with breathing problems and you would be surprised how much better you would feel if you switched to all natural ones. Its wonderful to be able to clean and breathe at the same time LOL > > CAROL CARUSO
Guest guest
Yeah it can be bad! I found this on a site, "Bleach and other chlorine-based cleaning supplies are known to be irritating to the nose, eyes, and lungs. People differ in their sensitivity to these things; but those with underlying nasal allergies, sinus problems, or asthma are more susceptible because the tissues in their noses, eyes, and lungs are already inflamed — and the bleach exposure just makes the condition worse." Here is another article, " London, Oct 13 - Household cleaning sprays and air fresheners even once a week can trigger asthma. Previous researches have shown that air fresheners and bleach trigger asthma symptoms even in people who already have asthma. The new study of more than 3,500 people by Jan- Zock from the Municipal Institute of Medical Research in Barcelona suggests that the risk increases with higher frequency of cleaning and the number of different sprays used. Spray air fresheners, furniture cleaners and glass cleaners carried the highest risk, said the study published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine." I have So many site that say this. Bleach is toxic! To: asthma Sent: Sunday, April 5, 2009 6:28:23 AMSubject: Carol - bleach Carol - bleachI don't use it either.
