Where is the physician shortage

I always hear about physician shortage and this beats my mind.

Our practice has been opened for over a year now and we are not close to busy.

Today we have only seen 2 people in our office and it about lunch time here.

If over a year I still don't have a full calender then where are all the

patients that are not getting seen by doctors.

Just mind boggling to me.
