I don't believe this is likely - I can't say for sure, though - but I don't think it's likely.  It definitely sounds like he's been exposed somehow.  Start thinking of all the possible places, was the school built on a waste dump, What is your doctor's plan?CherylHi, We have just done a heap of bloods and I asked to check Mercury in the Blood and urine. I was hoping to see some Hg excretion in the urine ( because we are now on the A/vial/Mb12 combo) and to my horror we found it in his blood and none in his urine. This would indicate recently exposure and poisoning. Mercury only stays in the blood for 42 days and if not excreted (which our kids usually don't do) it goes to the tissues. I know I may me grasping at straws but has any other family found they had high levels of Hg in the blood when they were on Mb12/ Anti.viral therapy. I was wondering if there was any chance that as these were methylators it might be helping pull Hg out of tissue which is why we are seeing it in the blood.? Andy from New Zealand     Get the name you always wanted with the new y7mail email address.

If there is a magic number above which the mercury appears to be dangerous, or any other useful concept:  the doctor may be able to recommend checking the environment at school, at home, anywhere he plays.  Mercury vapour meters can be rented and are sensitive enough to be very useful in tracking down problems.  It is likely to be a very sensitive problem in human relations around where you live and go to school, though.  Expensive if you have to pay, yourself. If possible, concentrate on getting it eliminated from the body.  It is often a waste of time trying to figure out exactly where it came from.  But being careful may prevent more mercury being taken in.  A lot will depend on how well your doctor is able to understand the problem.  Mine hadn't a clue so I found a chelation therapy trained doc:  by pure good luck.I don't believe this is likely - I can't say for sure, though - but I don't think it's likely.  It definitely sounds like he's been exposed somehow.  Start thinking of all the possible places, was the school built on a waste dump, What is your doctor's plan?CherylHi, We have just done a heap of bloods and I asked to check Mercury in the Blood and urine. Hi,

We have just done a heap of bloods and I asked to check Mercury in the Blood and urine. Thanks Cheryl and , We have a great doctor as she is onto the local hospital who are meant to come and check our home school etc. Thanks for the mercury vapour device idea. I didn't know what they could possibly use toi detect Hg. We try so hard to live in a chemical free home etc ... this news is devastating.I will keep you posted. Andy

I would agree about the pulling from tissue, however it still has to

come out of the body somewhere, otherwise it will just be redeposited

in the body. How is your childs glutithione levels?

If I understand right, there are several pathways that Hg gets out of

the body:

Urine

stool

hair

sweat

respiration(not sure of this one)

Ask your school if they have broken floresent light bulbs by accident?

If the gsh levels arent proper, its like bailing a leaky boat.

When the authorities do come. make sure that you get real numbers out of them.  In this part of the world they employ all the tricks imaginable to be able to say that there was a little mercury, in latex paint for example, but well within safe limits. This is where we would have to employ environmental technicians ourselves. Thanks Cheryl and , We have a great doctor as she is onto the local hospital who are meant to come and check our home school etc. Thanks for the mercury vapour device idea. What about the possibility of the mercury

being extracted out of the fat cells, with the help of the valtrex and MB-12

and into the blood but it has not yet been excreted. Maybe it’s being

excreted through his stool… I know when my son was on Valtrex I could

have sworn he was excreting metals through his head. It smelled of metals so

much his teachers commented…The recent exposure could just be from his

own bodies redistribution… Just guessing here..-

Look into Pectasol Modified Citrus Pectin (econugenics) google the studies and

modified

citrus pectin that remove metals from the bloodstream.

Hi, We can't measure glutathione levels in this country. Our Dr said to just take it for a given that they will be low. Thanks for the comment ..if all the methylators we are using are helping pull old Hg out of tissue ...therefore we see some in the blood ....wouldn't we see some tiny amount in the urine being excreted ? And yes iit could be excreted in the stool etc. I would love some more information on what happens in the blood to Hg levels when the supps that encourage methylation are being used ? anyone have any ideas ? Could Stan have any answers ? Or does anyone know how to contact one of the researchers in this field ? I have been downloading DAN articles but can't find the answer to the above question. (Still working on dragging the public Health authorities in to help search for current Hg

source as well.) Thanks, Andy
