Guest guest Posted June 21, 2004 Report Share Posted June 21, 2004 Hello Dianne welcome to Stilligans Island,your story is almost exactly like mine.The whole Anti-biotics thing(2 months no improvement)ended up with Pericardis(doctors words we dont know whats wrong but Your Sick & Your Stayin)In 1 week diagnosed(Mono)week later test can back negative(three more week stay in hospital rhumy called in and Wolla Stills Any of this Sound familiar LOL ohh yeah the Year In The hot place to of course,fevers,chills,rash.high white blood count,Anemia,enlarged spleen & liver,pericardis,pleuracy but amazingly no sore throat Although it felt like i drank an Ocean(so thirsty all time).Anyways im 32 Dx oct 2002,i am alot better and able to work,Stills can get better so hang in im happy the prednisone has helped,it has for me too but havin trouble weaning off the stuff i have tried twice now 1rst time i Flared at 5mgs Last time i did at 3mgs and just yesterday i dropped to 4 mgs gettin in the Scary Zone now,but im cuttin really slow hope it works.You Take care And feel free to ask any questions,we will try to answer them. d.Canada Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
