Guest guest Posted August 30, 2005 Report Share Posted August 30, 2005 My doctor still maintains that 9 out of 10 people do not have side effects with Lexapro. I am hoping that this is true of the sexual side effects also. There could be many reasons for lack of libido...heck...doesn't always have to be drug related. And, if I even THINK that a drug could result in lack of orgasm, that is what will happen. I don't think that many MS'rs have colds and other immune problems other than the affliction that MS shows. So I don't think your lack of colds is a good indicator that your immune system won't benefit by LDN. I don't know if it will help you to keep on it, but I do know that many people suffer through the beginning problems and are happy that they endured it later. I am sorry that you had a difficult sleep and that you don't feel well right now. Perhaps you can bring it down to 1.5mg and move up in about a months time. I have some digital scales so I'll be able to weigh it out- I hasten to add that I am a jewellery dealer so I use my scales for weighing out precious metal! Therefore you may not be getting an accurate amount when you split the capsules. This should overcome the uneven filler problem and be faster and cheaper than filling another prescription for 1.5mg. But be careful as a couple of people on the site have stated that when taking the liquid method, it is as if the dosage is stronger. I think is trying to reduce the strength at this time in order to give her body a chance to get used to LDN. I am very sensitive to medication in general. I am finding I am having severe mood swings, increased muscle pain, and fatigue. I am hoping these side effects will diminish with time.
