docs may need to consider adding mtx to the enbrel to kick start it, as far

as the headaches I really dont know, but I figure they will want to get the

results of your kidney scan before adding any new meds. I couldnt find your

history, it's on the computer that is in Korea now, so if you can resend me

your labs like sed rates, crp and any doctor's notes ie discharge summaries

if you get them.

Hi Kirk,

Yep have been through the tightness in the chest thing. When I was trying to croak off I actually had big time fluid around my heart and some kind of weird pnemonia. About a year ago I was having some tightness in the chest and went to see the regular old White Coat, my primary White Coat was out of town so got a new guy in town. He said I sounded like I had asthma and maybe some broncitis along with it. He fixed me up with some antibiotics to take and a inhaler thing to use. I still occasionally will use that inhaler thing if I start feeling a little tightness in the chest. I do not use it all the time, just if getting that feeling in the chest. It WORKS for me anyway. It is albuteral in the little inhaler. Now back when I was trying to croak off big time, they had me using this inhaler thing that was some all powerful stuff that I stopped using when it was all gone. It must have been some wicked stuff because my White Coat was really acting happy that I could get by without it. I can not even remember what it was, but was something they had me using from all of that weird pnemonia that was not real pnemonia or whatever it was. It about got the job done on croaking me off, so it must have been pretty wicked. Just some more of what Stills can whack you with. What seems to do me the MOST good when things start ganging up on me is REST REST REST. That is something that I was never really used to doing, but I am LEARNING.

Dan

It almost rained here in Montana.

Question(s)

I woke up this morning with a pounding headache, light dose of the chills, sore throat, fever and "tightness" around my chest. I went to my doctor and they ran an EKG (good) and scheduled me for an ECHO on July 7th. My throat looked good to him, but he did have a throat culture done, along with more blood work. My fever was almost normal by the time I got there. Anyone have any insight? He told me to go to the ER should I feel worse. I feel the same, so will avoid that place if I can.

He jacked my steroids back up to 60 mg/day on a declining schedule until I get back down to the 20 I have been on. This upcoming weekend is something I have been looking forward to for almost a year, and I will be a mess should I not be able to "go".

If it is either of these things the pred should hopfully help it does for me doctors always do same as they did for you increase the pred tempoarily,i think the ECHO will be able to pick it up,they always so far can see mine with just an X-ray though,so if you havent had one already maybe you can suggest one.Take care bud, hope you can get some rest and be able to im geussing a big fish tourney hope you get to go. d.Canada
