Guest guest
Ann: Come and take a ride with me. Found this on youtube. This is the ride we went on over 25 years ago. However, I do remember seeing veggies underwater. This particular video is the greenhouse portion of Living with The Land ride. Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ipy1tF5DU-Y & feature=related Melody
Guest guest
Here's another video (behind the scenes) about hydroponics and seeds (Living with the Land). I'm still trying to find the video that shows all the veggies under water. I will never forget that. I've been to DisneyWorld, MANY times and always have taken that ride. Guest guest
Hi everyone I really do remember (during the ride Listen to the Land,) that they had vegetables underwater. Maybe they did this for effect so that we all could be in the boat ride and go past all the food but I'm not crazy. I know what I saw. Can't find anything like that on youtube. But I found this short video about how they do things at Epcot. This guy describes how the hydroponic system works. Really cool!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwG9QMwVs_0 & feature=related Melody P.S. that does it for my Disney youtube videos. lol
Guest guest
He is a Shitz Zhu (sorry spelling). He has been through quite a bit. Several surgeries, several cysts on his paws (which is wrapped so he can't pick at them). I mean, this dog has been to the vet more times than I have gone to the doctor in my entire life. And because there are people who live on the block, who actually work at the Vet's office, they always check up on him. I think, at 14, he's getting really old. He lives with 2 cats in the house and he hasn't chased them in a long time. melody > > > Is it because he's 14 and can barely walk anymore? > > > >

Guest guest
Hi. I have been watching all the Epcot youtube videos. I have yet to see what I remembered. I do remember all the vegetables hanging up in the air in the massive greenhouses. I do remember the Mickey Mouse thing. But what I remember vividly is sitting in that ride and looking to my right and looking DOWN and seeing various vegetables growing UNDERWATER. That is indelibly imprinted on my mind. And I can't find any clips of any videos of all the Epcot stuff online. But I know what I saw. I remember this because I remember saying " Oh my god they grow stuff underwater " . And it wasn't any fish in any tanks. This fish thing must be new because in 1980 they didn't have any fish in any tanks when I went to Disneyworld. And if for whatever reason I ever find a clip of underwater vegetables from Epcot, you know I'll put it here. lol Melody
Guest guest
> > And I think she does a poor job so that I will quit asking. Hehhehheh. Hey, you XY chromosomes having been doing this for years, it's about time we wimmins learned the trick, no? >Yesterday, I asked to go out and pick some beans for dinner while I >got everything else ready. ... and she was standing there with every >beet from my garden. Hmmm. Or maybe your lovely bride just needs a trip to evaluate her hearing. Or again, that's an time-honored man-trick too: selective mis-hearing. I think Mrs. EW is just one smart chick. Anyway, mmmmm, beets. Between slicing beets and pitting cherries I have a couple of days each month with greasemonkey-looking nails/fingers from the stains. Don't mind at all.
