Guest guest
I called the insurance co and they were going to maybe authorize in- network, however my husbands employer owns part of the insurance co and signed an agreement that they are not allowed to authorize it so their hand are tied and so are mine. I called the employer and they will not change it. So the only thing I can do is go out of network and pay another $500 deductble and then they will pay 60% each visit, not much, but I guess it's better than nothing. Then next year we get to start all over again for the $1000 deductable. They are paying in network 50% after the $500 deductable for the therapist for the OCD, because there was one on the plan, however for mental health they will only pay 50%. Isn't insurance great. I know that our school system here will give them therapy. Although I don't know if they have OT trained for DSI. I just don't feel comfortable " giving " my kids to them. I want to be in control here. Thanks for all your help and advice!
Guest guest
> I called the insurance co Yeah, I hear ya. Try 3 kids, 2 of them on major meds, and NO health insurance. Our medical bills, this month so far are $1000+. I just don't feel > comfortable " giving " my kids to them. I want to be in control here. You are in control. Make sure you know your rights and are prepared to educate 'them' on what your rights are. :-) --Tina
