Guest guest
In partial answer to the redundant colon, I do not know if I have one, never been diagnosed, but my bowel movements were hard to get rid of, slow and not a complete evacuation (TMI for some maybe), but now that I have been off my calcium citrate for a few days in anticipation of my lab work tomorrow morning, my bowels are flowing (excuse the pun). It's like the floodgates opened and I have not used MiraLax in over 3 days and it is unbelievable how my movements have changed. I had been taking MiraLax 2-3-4 times a day with stool softener several times a week and still my bowels were slow going. I had been told in the past that the calcium is a constipater. I never noticed the difference before when I stopped my calcium prior to blood work. Any words of wisdom. I actually almost hate going back on the calcium tomorrow after the blood draw.
