Help needed in research study

Do you have a child between the ages of 3-5 who has autism? Does your child

receive services through the San Diego Region Center, a local public school, or

some other program paid for through state or local funding? Then your help is

needed!

As you know, hundreds of research studies have been done showing the impact of

programs, particularly ABA, on the life and development of the child receiving

the services. However, very little research has been conducted on the impact

these services are having on the entire family system. My research study will

explore the impact these services are having on the entire family system. This

area of research could help to show the need for continued services, not only

because of the benefits for the child, but also for the improvements within the

family system. With funding sources looking for ways to cut services, this

research is certainly needed.
