How are we to evaluate how far along we are in recovery, so as to know which list is appropriate? Is it a chronological thing, like 2+ years? I know you said we could join both lists. Not realistic time wise (for me). Thanks, sunsh

October 2000. Doesn't seem like it was that long ago. But it WAS. I can see time distortion being a LT issue. Oh yeah, the cognitive stuff. I forgot. Memory. That's probably another one. Would it be Ok to hang out there sometimes, to see what's in store? sunsh

We don't need forum police (but I guess we do need BP police, I hear they like to visit due to control issues, it's hard to imagine..not the control thing, it's hard to imagine what they'd say here) > > > Nadas don't seem to mellow with age. The BEST scenario is when they get brain cancer. nada seemed to 'forget' how to be weird. she even said she felt bad about some of her antics. she seemed to get all mixed up in time, which was very cool (bcs I understood what was happening -- watching her brain unravel rather than argue the date was *interesting*). it was nice while it lasted. then she expired. My nada is 83, and father is 84. I may not have anything to contribute, but I sure could use the advice that the others would have regarding aging nadas.
