Guest guest
Man, I so need to add that Aerogarden to my list to buy (in addition to the Sproutgarden). I know I'm coming a tad late to the party, i.e., everyone else already seems to have these, but I don't rush into buying decisions, LOL!! I know there was a conversation about the aerogarden in the recent past and I'll look up those posts, but apparently, you (n) really like it, right? I planted some outside container gardens this year and they're not doing all that great. Would love to have indoor plants all year round to nibble on. I know is a big fan of that too - can't remember if she has the Aerogarden, but I bet so! I did manage to successfully sprout some french lentils, mung beans, and green lentils all together this week. So far it's my favorite sprout mix since it's pretty easy, successful and the only kind I've tried, other than the adzuki beans and wheatberries, LOL!! Hi Lorri, My aerogarden has been growing the same herbs for 6 months now! Back in March, I bought some mints, cilantro, and I forget what else, thinking that it should need to be replanted soon. But it hasn't!. so I am afraid I am no help at the moment. Everyday I cut a bunch of herbs off the plants and it seems to never end. Good problem for me to have, I know. My husband has an aerogarden with tomatoes and he showed me it all ready has a few tomatoes. he is really excited about it. Our CSA will start next week-I almost feel guilty having not labored and grown the stuff myself. I have got to get to that fenugreek tonight and get some soaking! It is so good and keeps so well. I hope you enjoy a peaceful Monday off Lorri n Dr. Rollings NJ Licensed Psychologist #4686 www.DrnRollings.com Sent from my iPad On May 29, 2011, at 8:44 PM, Lorri <L.Lacey@... <mailto:L.Lacey%40comcast.net> > wrote: > > > > > > > Can we all please return to sprouting. > > Wishing all a peaceful weekend, > > n > > Who has a craving for some fenugreek sprouts > > > > Dr. Rollings > > > Fenugreek is the best in my opinion. Guest guest
I don't have AN aerogarden...I have 10 of them, lol. I think they are fabulous. I get them at auctions, flea markets, yard sales and even got a couple for free from freecycle. I don't use the pods or nutrients that come with them, and often convert them for less traditional uses, such as growing root veggies in trays set on top of where the pods are meant to go. I have them set to run the lights at night, and my house is lit up like Fort Knox because of them, lol. Certainly a worthwhile gadget to have-one of the best I have seen. > > > > > > > > > Can we all please return to sprouting. > > > Wishing all a peaceful weekend, > > > n > > > Who has a craving for some fenugreek sprouts > > > > > > Dr. Rollings > > > > > Fenugreek is the best in my opinion. Guest guest
Hi Thea, Yes, I am fond of our two aerogardens. I tend to think about things for a long time before I get them too. I thought about a treadmill for 5 years before I got that- and the aerogardens, I thought about for about 3 years. They are pretty inexpensive these days, and I am really impressed with the way my herbs have grown. We are putting fresh herbs in everything now! Congrats on your success with sprouting the legume mix. I too find them easy to sprout and wonderful to eat n Dr. Rollings NJ Licensed Psychologist #4686 www.DrnRollings.com Sent from my iPad > Man, > > I so need to add that Aerogarden to my list to buy (in addition to the Sproutgarden). Guest guest
Thanks for the reply! This is the last e-mail I will read on this group. To old for so much drama. Not you, as you seem to be a gracious person. > How much are they, I looked and they seem pretty expensive. > > --- > >
