I am the mother to Eleni who is 11 3/4 and ADHD and who is 9, ADHD and OCD, with a bit of depression thrown there. I guess I am confused by my sons OCD because his rituals are in his mind and I don't even know if they are " rituals " he does math and spells words in his head all the time! When we ask him to clean his room, he will make sure it is perfect, but again, I guess not what I would think as " OCD " . He was first diagnosed in 2006 with ADHD, after we had to move from our home because of toxic mold... but, now it seems as though it was moreso the OCD rearing it's head with ADHD in there also. is a " sweet " child... he is loving and kind, but at times, it is as though he is turning on us... he will say things to me like " I dare you to do that " or " just try it " .... he becomes angry very easily and even says... I can't control it... I am so angry and I can't stop. I guess I just want to know if any of you have had things like this happen with your child. My oldest one was diagnosed with ADHD 5 years ago and I considered myself a " professional " at ADHD at this point... the OCD is really throwing me and I am just plain lost here.
