Guest guest
I t have very little starter tea and, unfortunately, my scoby has bene in the refrigerator for months. I'm going to try to make a batch and I'm hoping that my scoby are still viable. Could someone please remind me of how much apple cider vinegar I should use in place of the starter tea to acidify my batch? I also learned from this list that I should first 'pasteurize' my ACV and will do that. - mark
Guest guest
For a gallon vessel, I'd use 1/4 cup vinegar. It may take a while for your SCOBY to wake up and get brewing because of the refrigeration. --V >I t have very little starter tea and, unfortunately, my scoby has bene >in the refrigerator for months.
