Guest guest
Hi, You are at the low end of the range. I just got these results yesterday: TOTAL T3 1.43 Range: 0.86 - 2.00 TOTAL T4 1.25 Range: 0.76 - 1.76 T4(thyroxin) 8.0 NORMAL TSH < 0.03 ABNORMAL Have been taking 90mg. Armour so might be OK to reduce it to 60mg. I'll try it and see. DHEA, SERUM 3.4 Range: 1.2 - 9.2 Have been taking 25 mg. per day. Guest guest
Hi Both T3 and T4 look pretty low in the ranges to me. Most people feel their best when they are in the top quarter of their ranges. Also it would be better to have the Free T3 and Free T4 tests as they show a clearer picture. If your doctor won't do them you can get a thyroid profile from www.nptech.co.uk which costs about £24 and includes FT3 and FT4 Maybe you are allergic to one of the binders in the thyroxine? Have you tried Goldshield Eltroxin, which is the only Brand nameT4 in the UK? It is supposed to be the best. (Some people have terrible problems with the generics) Personally, from what research I have done, I still think that you (like me) need Cortisol. (Although I could be wrong of course) Cortisol is not harmful in small physiologic doses (and does not suppress the adrenals) and should hopefully allow you to tolerate enough thyroid hormone to cure your hypo symptoms. Have you read " Safe Uses of Cortisol " by McK Jeffries? You can order it from www.amazon.com and it takes a few weeks to arrive. I have a copy of it. Although I have not read much of it yet, it is quite enlightening. Guest guest
Sally I agree something is up. I have been quite sick for 7 years now and just got my Heart sorted out last may. In September last I stopped taking wafarin and all this started. I managed to stay afloat by taking three days of armour and three days of Thyroxin. The only way I can cope it now taking 1/4 Grain of Armour and 50 mg of normal Thyroxin. Yes I this tried eltroxin but to no avail. I promised the dr not to hop around with the meds and stay on this for six weeks which is not too bad just my waist line in getting bigger and I am not going to the loo much. I am going to do this and then put some pressure for something else to happen when I see this guy on July 30th. Any new on you with Dr Skinner. john c Re: Advice please Hi Both T3 and T4 look pretty low in the ranges to me. Most people feel their best when they are in the top quarter of their ranges. I have bouts of fatigue, dry skin and hair loss. TSH Sensitive .19 (.49 to 4.67 is nomal)Thyroxine 7.22 (4.5 to 12.0 is normal) T3 Free 2.71 (230 to 420 is normal) Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Perhaps food state adrenal glandular and natural thyroid would be better? We need all the thyroid hormones not just T4. If there is a liver conversion problem it may be T3 that is the problems. check out hair sample analysis to see the underlying cause in attached file Re: Advice please Hi Both T3 and T4 look pretty low in the ranges to me. Guest guest
Hi Tess I'm no expert, but here goes... Your TSH is suppressed which isn't a problem as long as you have no hyper symptoms. Your T4 is below midrange. Most people feel better when their T4 is in the top 1/4 of the range (ie 10 or above with those ranges) Are you sure you mean 2.71 with a range 230 to 420??? If so, then you have a major T4 to T3 conversion problem. if you mean 271, then it's still very low, below midrange. Should be more like 372 or above. This is only my opinion, but you look like you could do with an increase in meds. What meds are you taking? Your doctor is probably going by TSH which doesn't tell the whole story. If he refuses to increase your meds and you are still having hypo symptoms, then it's time to get a new doctor Hope this helps Sally Re: Advice please > Hi Sally, > > Would you mind commenting on my lab results? Guest guest
Thanks for the compliment, but I really don't think that I am the voice of the group. I am just the same as everyone else. I am having major problems myself and have therefore done *lots* of reading. I only know what I have read. Selenium, Zinc and Magnesium are all needed to convert T4 to T3. You will be getting T2 in your Armour as it has the whole range. If you want to take extra T2, I'm sure I've seen it on a UK website, but I can't tell you which one. Try bodybuilding sites, or do a seach for T2 on google. I don't know if it will help though as it's not something I've covered in my research (so far) Sally RE: Advice please > Sally you seem to be the voice of this group and you know what your talking about. Guest guest
, Normally the body produces a special enzyme to perform the conversion of T4 to T3. So far nobody has devised a substitute for that enzyme, but you might be interested in trying a product called T2-Pro that could be helpful in facilitating the conversion if the enzyme is present. Take a look at http://www.biotestedge.com/html/t2.html and see what you think. This product also contains the herb coleus forskohlii which could alleviate your itching. Guest guest
0.03 is the usual range for those taking thyroid supplements I highly disagree with this. That level is going toward the hyper. side of things, which brings another host of problems. _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com

Guest guest
I don't know much about Glycine, but for irritability or tension I always suggest magnesium as it is so basic. Particularly since he responded well to zinc (these minerals tend to go together it seems). Are you doing any epsom salts or magnesium? Also, sulfites tend to be associated with rage or aggression if you think he might be taking in some of those (including in corn syrup). . Guest guest
Good grief! You've got to be kidding. Well, I guess you're not. I guess my first approach would be to act on the assumption that these people are actually well-meaning, but utterly clueless. They may have contracted with some kind of " entertainment " company that simply includes this as part of its act. Try making an appointment to see the minister, explain to him (or her) how emotionally hurtful it is (as well as potentially physically harmful to the person involved), and see if they do the right thing and eliminate that particular event. If you encounter hostility, I'd call the local paper and try to stir up some activism against this church. Dan On 10/22/03 7:09 PM, " willow.snow@... ADVICE? >Willow > > Willow, I noted the pastor's response. I think it would have been better to DROP the first paragraph, I do find that there seems to be a contrite spirit here. I also think there was an appreciation for the fact that you followed a biblically based path (geeze, cannot get my fingers on the scripture right now) to resolve the issue. I know it may still seem somewhat lukewarm but on the other hand the pastor did acknowledge that you could have gone in a very different direction with this. In the current state of churches these days, he should have skipped his attempt to be light hearted and stuck with the apology and the appreciation for keeping the situation on the local church level. On one level people " forget " we are of short stature (yes even friends I've had for 30 years sometimes forget)..... we cannot. It may be that Jarrod isn't seen any different from all the other kids. I don't know if that is was what happen, I do know that sometimes it has happened to me. The fact is, that this whole invitation was bordering on encouraging child endangerment; what dwarf want's to be there, even if it is JUST is an " effigy " representing them?? Ok, let's start substituting other people, races, religions.... then watch feathers fly! Some, just don't get it. That is when we need to take the higher ground and act with restraint and response equal to the offence AND no more. Being reactionary instead of proactive only causes more problems. Guest guest
Wow, you sure start with the tough ones! Remember that the QX does the work for you... start with the basics and everything will be addressed. Any condition will have the potential for improvement if the body is strong enough to deal with healing. Here are some places to start: Test Matrix// Report//Make A Medicine Report - this will tell you where to start looking. Pay attention to the organs, emotions, etc. and do the corresponding therapies for each of these later. This is for referral not a diagnostic page. Test Matrix//Treatments//Cause/Cure/Palitation//type in the disease name and do the start - therapy as well as referral area. Test Matrix//Disease Dictionary//you have to agree to terms and hit open and start buttons to get access//Search the list for the item or at lease items similar (i.e. muscle degeneration) then choose the dot you want on the right side go to the bottom and OK-reveal text. Treat Test Matrix//empty box next to the search button, type in any word (one at a time) that may have to do with this situation or the complications that it has made for your client. Do a zap or filter zap (under zap bar in the ruler panel) Do be sure to deal with top pathogens, ph balance, kidneys, bowel, intestine, liver, and lymphatics. Also, autonomic nerval system. If you don't know how to do any of these contact me. Therapies, just start simple...do what the machine tells you. Then go into spinal//timed treatments//immune stim or muscle stim. You can also go to the muscles directly below that area and do specific work. Blood work - the easiest place for a new person is let the machine help here. Go to test matrix//Programs//Unattended Quick Therapy//The machine will check what it wants, but you can piggy back 'blood' if it is not clicked. The darkfield section is much more through here, but unless you have my manual it is more complicated. This should start you out. Good luck and remember God is with you. Guest guest
After testing, look in the "disease" matrix what comes up regarding muscles. Drag and drop this diagnose in the purple search ( hold ) box and do a search ( button" Test item in thehold tray above " ) after you've chosen for the worm data to appear. After, you'll see the main culprit amongst the worms apper in yellow boxes below. You must look them up in the main matrix and do a "auto focus Zap" on them. for 1 time, two or three times 3 minutes. Do the same protocol after you've chosen fo the Virus data or the bacteria to show. This, of course, after you've done the suggested treatments on the therapy page. Of course many other options are there. Good luck. Noel.
