Google Groups to keep in contact with patients

For what it is worth, I set up a clinic Announcements only group on

Google Groups (same could be done on Yahoo Groups).

Left lower side -- allows sign up from my home page.

The Google Group isn't too fancy -- it's just for sending out

announcements...

I plan to mainly use this for announcements -- Hey, the flu shots are

in! Don't forget the lab fair this Saturday at XYZ!, etc.

It's free and fairly simple to use.

Yahoo Groups is also another similar and useful service for e-mail groups.
