Looking at the editorial from the NEJM about the AURORA

trial, it comes to mind the conundrum we confront.  Seems like the logical

answer to the problem should be to avoid patients going to hemo-dialysis, all

together, with better treatment of diabetes and HTN and not further treatments for

dialysis patients’ that seems to be a lousy, end stage, diagnosis to

carry.
