Guest guest
The " no free lunch " guys/gals can ignore this question.==========================================What's the story with the drug reps saying they have to witness my signature on the drug samples receipt? This seemed to have started up a couple years ago -- but for being a federal " rule " (as some reps claim), it certainly seems to be implemented hit and miss by the various reps.I tried to google this at one point and could find no evidence that me signing a form for samples needed to be " witnessed " . My suspicion is that this is just the rep's way of getting you out of your office and in front of them so they can make their pitch.I've asked for documentation of this rule, but none of the reps can ever show me the rule. It's not a big deal overall -- but irritating to me because I feel like I am being lied to.Anyone have a link to documentation on the requirement for rep's to witness my signature for medication samples? Just curious. Locke, MD
