so I got this guy who  came in last friday night at 5 15 pm with a big  dvt  I get him on lovenox after the doppler duplex test  Wife emails me  they gave us 7 days  worth you need a prior auth  I forget until today

 I have been tres  busy tellin g people I have no flu shots except the ones Shaorn  McCoy The Wonderful  s net me that I have been prioritizing into the arms of the most needy so it is wednesday On wednesay I drink tea and sleep and look at he clutter of my house and  etc

 Damn ! I forgot the lovenox.so I call pharmacy- Lucy ! I  s ay you knwo the phone number t o call? I call ANthem - they want my DEA#.   NO I say  Not over thephone( a small remannt of dignity  and control that  I retian) TAx id? NO that is my ssn and blue cross just  lost them all on  that laptop . NPI? damn I  only know the first four digits by heart 

well they say callback when you have  the NPI  NO I will not I say let me talk to a supervisor t Priamry care i s nearly dead out here-I say this all the time - I have ot do it  now, figure it out  .I get put onhold

 She comes back and does just fine  with my address and phoen  then she saysno prior auth is neededIt must be how the docotr wrote the perescrition We have already painfully ascertained that I AM the physcian I ask for advcie on exaclty what to tell the phamracist She has none  I cal l:L ucy backj

Lucy I say WHY do I get out of bed in t he monring ??LUcy says really? no prior auth ?oh look a t  that they gave him 8 days worth  not 7 why would they do that . Let me play with it an d I willc all you if I need you

 I say write the script any w ay  you want Just   put endless refills o nit . ANd I have not even had the second  cup of tea yet  Did you guys see theyoutuibe of the girl who got a flushot and  can now only walk  backwards ? sigh  Real dystonia  I guess but MY drmatical teenager  patietn with astham  made me watch it  She did let me give her a nasal  spray but look a t my arm it is  bruised !!she asays   Where ??I say peerin gthough the hand lens at a tiny mark.
