Guest guest
Well My mother had a Liver Transplant and had Medicaid. So yea Medicaid covers the treatments. Recently A dr asked me if I had Medicaid because the Meds can be very expensive if I decided to do treatment. So I understand that to mean Medicaid covers it. However Medicaid does have restrictions on the amount of tests you can take. we all have a set of blood, xrays etc. I have seen a notice come in and warn that you are reaching the threshold, it tells you to get a letter from the Dr. My mothers' dr and SW did this a while ago so she is already in the system. Its also a part of Medicaid that voids from longterm care. If you want less paper work they have that as an option on the Medicaid Recertification. So call the Medicaid hotline to see what your coverage entails. > > So is there something speacial we who have Medicaid need/have to do in > order to make shure that Medicaid will cover tx drugs needed for > treating HCV? >
