My son bites his lip. No good answers for you though. If you are seeing a

therapist for your Ds you might ask for suggestions.

I'm sorry, but I don't have any solution to this other than try to help him avoid the stresses in his life. My 9 yr old is anxious, too. He bites his nails to the quick and has numerous vocal and facial tics which worsen if he is the least bit stressed. Often, these kinds of things pass after a short while, but sometimes, not. Look up trichnotillomania (spelling?). I actually do this with my hair, most of the time not aware of it. It started when I was about 16 or so. I thought it was an OCD thing.
