Guest guest
Cheryl, Do you rotate the antifungals with your son? We started with Nystatin and got die off one week into and then some improvements. My boys finally learned one sign "more" and now use it consistently and appropriately. But nystatin was not strong enough. Then we switched to diflucan for several months with more die off and more improvements, and finally have switched to Nizoral (ketoconazole) and have been on for three months with more die off and more improvement but I am wondering if we need to rotate every few months to keep yeast from becoming resistant. Dana and Garrett, just turned 4, SCD 2 yearsCeliac, ASD, Speech and Motor Apraxia, sensory processing disorder Anyone done anti-fungals? Our doc found that most ASD kids had fungal problems (internally) . We're on ketoconazole (just started yesterday). If so, any behavior changes noticed? -- Warmest Regards, B.
