Today is my free day. I've been craving Sushi and the Easter Candy that's been in my freezer cause I didn't eat it. I just know if I start in with those Carbs I will be bingeing all day so I am going to do my meals as usual and have a free meal instead of a free day...

Sunday

M1 steel cut oatmeal, cottage cheese and chives

M2 designer whey protein, frozen raspberries, skim milk

M3 turkey burger, sautéed onions, peppers, mushroom and some green vegetable steamed

M4 salad, chicken breast

M5 SUSHI

M6 cottage cheese, strawberries

My intention is to plan my meals for the coming week and do as much grocery shopping today as I can. My refridge is small so I can't buy too much at one time. I found all white meat turkey burgers at Costco yesterday. Grilled up a few. They are kinda dry as white meat has very little fat.

Your meals look good Stacey! You've got the balance thing going on

well for your first week! :) Altho I probably would choose the

leftover Easter candy over the sushi any day its still a great

splurge meal to have (ok you can nibble on the chocolate bunnies ears

today too just cuz its your free day!)

I do the planning for the weeks meals on the weekend too, along with

new grocery lists, so I never run into that problem of not having

something on hand to make one of my meals ~ I buy gladware containers

and cook up a few chicken breasts, brown rice & vegetables and store

em for the week ~ some people I know even do this with their steelcut

oatmeal ~ I buy many things for convenience sake too and keep them at

work like those little tuna kits or some bars for those 'just in

case' moments (desk drawer used to look like the candy aisle at 7-11

now I have reformed! LOL!)

Best of luck in your second week! And always remember 'if you fail to

plan you plan to fail' so keep up the good work! :)
