Marla, I am having the same problem. Eating, eating, eating. Blamed it on depression, as I have clinical depression and cloudy, dark days are hard on me. Have been for years. With all the rain we have had this winter, that could account for some of it. My whole thing is, ever since got hurt in October I have been gaining. I still have problems sleeping and so that is why I feel it depression making me eat. Since October I have gained ten pounds and I am NOT happy about it. I feel miserable. Even when I know I am full I want to eat. Drives me crazy. I swear I am not going to eat, and the next thing I know my hands and mouth are crammed full. Doc is putting me back on Paxil, which I was on for years and weaned myself off of about ten years ago. I should get it in the mail in a couple of days. She said it would take a couple of weeks to see if it makes me feel any different. I hope so. I am miserable.

I hope it works for me, and I hope you find an answer to yours. We are close in our DS days, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I know that greasy foods do not re-act on me like they used to. I think the days of the DS being any help is gone. Nothing is like it was, even a year ago. Maybe we have reached the end of it being of help and now have to rely on what we have learned in the past six years.

That's all I can my friend. Good luck with finding your cause. I need it too.

Anyone else suddenly feel like they are hungry all the time? I also gained weight as my size 10 jeans are tight. Some of that can be contributed to a 3,000 mile car trip, eating out, and birthday desserts but really?!? I have been home over a week and I think of eating all the time. I thought maybe I was just thirsty so I increased my water, when thinking I am hungry I would just make a protein drink. I heard Dr. Oz say that if you want to lose to eat 5 small meals of 300 calories or less. Well, that is over 1,500 calories a day and I have always gained on that many calories. I am taking all my vitamins and supplements. I need to exercise but have made excuses that even I don't understand. Maybe I just have the Winter Blahs but it is spring now. Help, JO!

PS: I have had all my labs and they are normal. Had check up with Dr. K in October, and clearance by GP and cardiologist. ( I don't have heart disease just a leaky valve.)
