Guest guest
Rice? Hmmm.....cheese? Any kind of simple carbohydrate with very little to no fiber? And lots of water if he'll drink that; if not, water flavored with a little juice. Avoid apple juice and I would think other fruit juices except for the citrus ones like oj. If I'm wrong about this, please don't hesitate to correct me, anyyone. This is important question as we don't want JJ to get dehydrated, which makes me think; would you be ok giving him some gatorade if you think he is dehydrated? You could water it down, as I do, with my son with ASD because he loves it, but it's not good for him on a daily basis. Guest guest
My youngest does the same thing. After she has gotten over being sick, then she spends the next three to five days with loose stools. The doctor said it is just the way her body gets rid of what is left of the virus. Our doctor told us not to try any meds to stop it, like Imodium AD because then the flu germs would not leave her body as quick. I just make sure she gets plenty of liquids, so she does not get dehydrated > > Hi all, > JJ has has aVERY runny poo for the last 3 days. What can I give him to help this? I'm always so happy when Nic will eat yogurt (because of the acidophillus) and have even put the contents of the capsules of acidophillus in his food when he had a yeast infection/jock itch (like in the summer because of wet bathing suits, etc.) It works better than anything the doctor prescribes.
