Guest guest Posted January 20, 2006 Report Share Posted January 20, 2006 This is in response to the question on when to drink KT. I feel that it is safest to start drinking KT with meals. It will help you digest your food. Drinking it on an empty stomach the KT has more of an opportunity to detox and give the body more nutrients. BUT, if the KT makes you feel sick or funny, or if it gives you indigestion, it is best to drink it with food, in small amounts, gradually increasing the amount and trying it on an empty stomach later. (For indigestion, diluting it with some water will often also help.) I like to have some with meals, and between meals. But I started with meals, and I really think that is the easiest way to introduce your body to KT. Start with 2 ounces with meals, then gradually move up. Stay with 2 ounces for a week at least if there is any question. More may be a blessing, but to get to " more " you have to go through " enough " . And if your body can't handle KT on an empty stomach, it probably isn't digesting food very well either, and can use the help.
