Hi all,

I am suddenly unable to receive individual emails from this group and I don't

see any new messages since 5/8 on the group web page. Since I usually receive at

least a dozen or so new messages every few hours, I am wondering where everyone

has disappeared to? Is anyone else having this problem?

Ideas welcome, and I hope I'll be able to see any replies!

Thanks much!

Obviously yahoo is having some issues, LOL. One 24hr period, almost 100

messages, then suddenly - blurp, none. There's always been a problem (that I

know of) of not all the posts sent out, but you usually find them on the groups

list on yahoogroups.

I was not posting all weekend or today due to weekend busyness, work-figured the

same for everyone else.

I discovered that yahoo had put about half of my emails in my spam folder from

last week

No I think most people spend time with their Mother's or Mother in Love's on

Mothers day., instead of being on the computer.

FTR, I am also wondering...

I am envious of your alfalfa and fenugreek seeds. Please video them when they're

grown!

My husband is more into the grains/legumes these days, so I have Amber Waves of

Grain, lentils, peas at all times. Also bags of rye, wheat, oat groats, and

quinoa in the freezer. I like all those, but really prefer the leafy greens.

Last one sprouted was Russian Mix (and that's where I get my fenugreek - as well

as red clover, onion, mustard, and dill!). It's a good mix, but I like Mother's

Mix better.

I think I'll have to check out Handy Pantry. Thanks for the idea!

Take care, Melody!

I have been working a lot-but yesterday, I had a break between patients, so

instead of doing the filing that has accumulated on my desk, I figured I'd do

some goofing off and read email, etc.

Well, that didn't happen as I had an emergency so no break.

No filing either, but I am glad to b working which pays for all the goofing off

:)

I am going to ask some Russian mix tonight and m looking forward to eating it

already

Peggy:

Just click on the following link. I made this some time ago when I was

experimenting with various covers because on the 4th day, the sprouts grow so

tall I can't stack them anymore, so I found a new thing to use as a cover. But

what I want you to see are the sprouts themselves.

The sprouts in this video are alfalfa, broccoli and fenugreek and maybe a dash

of radish. They greened up beautifully.

If I did just alfalfa and fenugreek they would look exactly the same.

So until I get my new ones grown in my trays, just look at the ones I already

did in this video. Nice, tall and plump sprouts.

This particular video I had made before I got my Flip. Now I make much better

and clearer videos.

So when I grow my new batch, I'll put up a new video.

bye for now

Melody (and wait until you hear my response to the breast comment about

fenugreek). I'm posting that in a few minutes. You're gonna fall off of your

chair.

Hi All.

I recently reviewed the info on HandyPantry and the info on Fenugreek indicates

it grows breast size. While that might not be appealing to some people, it just

might be appealing to SOME people. Not to me, because I'm 63 and I don't care

about that stuff anymore but I MUST tell you another one of my funny stories.

It's off topic but it will make you laugh.

Have any of you seen the Genie Bra infomercial on TV? It's all over the place.

Well, my hubby was watching it and said 'Hey, do you want this for an

anniversary gift " . I said 'what?? " He said " the Genie Bra "

I said 'go for it'. I then went online and watched the commercial. Well, to

say it impressed me was putting it mildly. I could eat all the Fenugreek I want

and I don't think I could get the result that the genie bra would give me.

So there I was, happily awaiting my arrival of genie bra.

It came the other day. A set of 6.

You step into it, no hooks, no loops, no nothing. It makes you think that you'll

look like Pamela Lee.

I was waiting for me to look like I had Gazongas. You know. BIG Gazongas.

So I'm looking in the mirror and I exclaim: " Where did my gazongas go? "

Lets just say it did NOT do for me, what it did for the people on the

infomercial.

I could not understand it. I had the same genie bra that the models in the

commercial had on. But not the same result.

I watched the infomercial over and over until BINGO!! I got the lightbulb

moment.

Want to know why Melody did not have the same results as the models in the genie

bra commercial?? Because ALL THE MODELS WERE SURGICALLY ENHANCED.

I'm a normal woman. I could have put on 10 genie bras and I wouldn't have looked

like Pamela Lee.

And I could eat Fenugreek till the cows come home and I wouldn't have that

result either.

Now everyone get up off of the floor and stop laughing.

Lol! Well if the Russian mix answers me, i guess i had better call a shrink and

get myself some help! The silly autocorrect on the iPad is maddening! Fatigue I

guess made me miss that :)

I might switch it off since I get erroneously " corrected " all of the time by it.

I am craving Russian Mix though and plan to soak some :)

The iPad is pretty awesome, despite it's overzealous autocorrection feature.

LOL, getting SOME work done on the garden, and am so incredibly stiff, I cannot

tell you.

If it rains tomorrow I'll be painting again!

I decided to sprout my corn seeds that are going to be planted to see if they

are viable. It took a few days, but those babies are making tails. Tomorrow

they'll go into little " paper pots " - Once they've got some greenery, they'll go

into the ground.

I have been planting things around my yard. Tonight I got the last of my

global buckets planted with tomatoes. I now have 10 tomato plants in buckets,

two in the raised beds (one with a bloom on it!), one hanging up in a Topsy

Turvey and a small, sad looking patio tomato plant that I need to figure out

what to do with. I also have 3 more Topsy Turveys to plant and hang up. If I

don't have some REAL tomatoes this year, it's not from lack of trying! ;-)

My sunflower shoots did fantastic! I had NO idea how many you can get out of a

10x10 flat. Next time I'm not going to plant them quite so thick, I think I was

on the verge of having a mold problem. I stir-fried a bunch of them, had some

on a wonderful salad on Mother's Day, still have a whole bunch left AND - this

is the best part! - turned my 4 1/2 yr old granddaughter on to them. At first

she didn't like them, but then I let her help me cut some for the salad and she

started popping them in her mouth. She ended up taking a baggie of them with

her and eating most of them on the way home.

I think that was best Mother's Day presents that I could have had. Although she

still eats crap most of the time. :(

I also let her " help " me plant a new crop of wheatgrass, which she thought was

cool, and then I let her water the plants in the back yard, which of course she

liked! I'll turn that kid into a gardener and sprouter if it's the last thing I

do!

You're right, Melody! I am ROTFL - and tell Alan that his question (and I quote

you):  'Hey, do you want this for an anniversary gift " likely meant that he was

thinking what a good gift it would be for HIM, so to speak. Did you really want

it? I really can't relate (see my private msg to you)

I've not seen the ad for Genie Bras, but it sounds like others that I don't

recall the name of right now. Someone will chime in.

You do have some great stories, Melody! Thanks for the laughs...

Too funny, here's another. Years ago Secrets, a store, had a

Wonder Bra. The models looked like angels, complete with wings. My

friend's husband went there for her birthday. He just kept walking around

and reading signs. The clerk finally asked him if he need help. He said I

am looking for the Miracle Bra. The clerk laughed and said, do you mean the

Wonder Bra? He said, no 'cause it's gonna take a miracle for a bra to make

my wife look like the pictures.

Re: Where is everyone?

Hi All.

I recently reviewed the info on HandyPantry and the info on Fenugreek

indicates it grows breast size. While that might not be appealing to some

people, it just might be appealing to SOME people. Not to me, because I'm 63

and I don't care about that stuff anymore but I MUST tell you another one of

my funny stories.

It's off topic but it will make you laugh.

Have any of you seen the Genie Bra infomercial on TV? It's all over the

place. Well, my hubby was watching it and said 'Hey, do you want this for an

anniversary gift " . I said 'what?? " He said " the Genie Bra "

I said 'go for it'. I then went online and watched the commercial. Well,

to say it impressed me was putting it mildly. I could eat all the Fenugreek

I want and I don't think I could get the result that the genie bra would

give me.

So there I was, happily awaiting my arrival of genie bra.

It came the other day. A set of 6.

You step into it, no hooks, no loops, no nothing. It makes you think that

you'll look like Pamela Lee.

I got the lightbulb

moment.

Want to know why Melody did not have the same results as the models in the

genie bra commercial?? Because ALL THE MODELS WERE SURGICALLY ENHANCED.

I'm a normal woman. I could have put on 10 genie bras and I wouldn't have

looked like Pamela Lee.

And I could eat Fenugreek till the cows come home and I wouldn't have that

result either.

Now everyone get up off of the floor and stop laughing.

lol
