I'm wondering if I'm " purposely mentally forgetting it is Wednesday " !! But

all is not lost today as I didn't get up and work out so I will put it on my

agenda for tonight. I haven't been sleeping well so I've let myself have

the week off from morning workouts...last night I was up at midnight

cleaning the kitchen and stove tops so I definitely got up at the last

minute this morning!

Darcy,

I broke out the old studio advanced today (it was at the very, very

bottom of the pile and even had some dust on the cover...LOL) It's

probably been at least a year and a half since I've done that

tape...haha! What a workout! I think one of the reasons the

floorwork is so hard is because it's done so slowly! You really feel

the burn! I think when you do the moves in doubletime, you start

using momentum instead of the actual muscle! I had forgotten how much

you use the legs in that workout, too (the slow side kicks where you

actually squat down in between..and where the music is actually slow

enough to where you CAN squat down without losing form, the squat

kicks and then, of course, the cards at the end)....UGH!

I did that one the other day myself, and it had been

quite a while for me too :o)!!!!! That is one of the

good things about the tape, is that you really get to

focus on form more easily. I know I have to stop

myself with some of the live tapes, because I try to

keep up with the people on the tape and losing form

concentration. When I want to focus on form, I like

to do the studio or some of the TBTV ones.

I don't know if it's my endurance at that point or the

tapes. But for some I have no problem keeping up with

them, and others, I often end up half-step behind.

You all convinced me. I'm pulling out that tape tomorrow and doing

it. I need the floor work, too.

I did that tape not too long ago and WOW, the floorwork is

challenging. I agree, I think that doing it slower makes it a bit

more tougher :)

Darcy who is thrilled to have so many wonderful tae-bo tapes to

choose from....

Yea, but then you stand there for days trying to

decide which one to do :o)!!!!! I know I do, I

sometimes feel like I'm going to do one. Then I might

hear one of the songs from one of the tapes, then I

change my mind and want to do that one. OR I have no

idea which one to do and stand there forever trying to

decide. My other favorite, is that I'm in the mood for

a certain soundtrack and I do the wrong tape thinking

the song(s) I want are on that tape.

Sandie, Tae and Bo who is going to get her index cards

out and make cheat sheets for the tapes :o)!!!!!!!

Yes, I do it ALL the time. I like it to when I do

something that I think is " weird " or " unusual " to find

out that someone else does the same thing too :o)!!!!!
