Way to go, Dan! You are off to a great start. I'll let someone else tell

you about the Get Ripped basic tapes because I don't have them.

Hello Everyone,

Dan here. I am in the latter days of my own personal 21 day

challenge of " basic " tapes. So far so good. Starting to see

and feel differences.

I have three basic tapes. The original studio 1998 version,

the live 1999 version, and the recent inspirational version.

I consider the original 1998 version to be the easiest, followed

by the inspirational. 1999 live version is tougher by quite a bit,

but I like it the best. Good training for the transition to

an advanced tape (I hope).

Question...............to anyone who has the new " Taebo 2, Get

Ripped Tapes " . How do the two basic tapes compare to the above

in your opinion?

I wanted to again say how I appreciate this reading the things

on this board and how you all encourage each other.

Dan

Dan, who wonders why alot of people end their posts by

saying: " name " , who...................................

Dan,

I would rate the Get Ripped Basic tapes as most similar to the

Inspirational workout! That Live Basic tape you have from the Live 4

pack is definitely one of the toughest basic workouts....I actually

think it's more like a mini-advanced tape! So, you are right..it

will definitely help you transition to the advanced tapes! The Get

Ripped Series is a great investment! You can't beat the value of

getting 6 tapes for $40. Just some advice...if you do get the Get

Ripped tapes....get them from QVC because they are cheaper than

getting them from the Taebo website!

The signature thing is something that Barb started (she used to post

here all the time and now just posts every once and a while). It is

just the way she always ended every message and we sort of all just

picked up on it :)

Hi Dan!

I have the original studio basic and the TB II Get Ripped set. This set has two

basic workouts

and two advanced workouts. So far, I find the original to be the one that I

tend to lean toward,

but only because I know it so well. I do like the two basic workouts in the Get

Ripped. They are

each different and compliment each other well. Right now I do them on a three

day rotation. One

of the GR basics works similar to the original studio basic, but uses some

different movements and

tends to focus on slightly different muscles (still buns and abs). The other GR

basic starts with

floor work and moves into some cardio. This one seems to target more definition

for the abs. For

the record, I like all three and they compliment well in providing variety.

Hope this helps!

Selena

OHHHHHH I am SO jealous. When I was a little girl we use to go camping there

all the time and it was so lovely. And of course we went snowmobiling in the

winter.

a

Who went " camping " there for the first time when she was two and a half weeks

old. The day she came home from the hospital. (My birthday gift was a camper)

,

Thanks for the tip. I live deep enough in the Adirondack

Mountain area that we don't have cable TV; so I never see QVC.

I went on the web and sure enough, the " get ripped " tapes are

there for $40.00. Thanks again.

Dan,

I'm glad I could help :) I don't know why they are so much more

expensive on the Tae-Bo website! I think that's just plain wrong!

They should be the same price that QVC has them available for!
