All of you have had lost pounds lately and my present heroine Sandi (for

really nailing her 21 no dessert or junkfood challenge DC) are motivating me

to raise move my healthy-eating diet up a notch. I'm ready for a new 21 DC.

My last one was not very successful. Although I didn't eat desserts at work,

I still managed to eat them everywhere else. Plus, in attempting to make my

neighbor a loaf of bread as thanks for taking care of our animals while we

were away at conferences, I ended up eating two " draft " loaves.

Therefore, starting Friday June 1, the only desserts (and homemade bread,

LOL), I will eat for 21 days will be those my husband makes on weekends

(ususally very small portions of low fat desserts). This may not seem like

much of a sacrifice, but it is to me since I'm a dessert lover. Plus, it is

a diet I can live with. Anyone want to join me in starting a new 21DC (of

any type) on Friday?

Sure! I'm going to go with a no alcohol challenge. I don't drink very much

but I have gotten in the habit of having a glass or two on the weekends and

then whenever I eat out. I ate out A LOT recently and then I will be eating

out quite frequently when we move.

I most-certainly think this is a sacrifice Elena, any litle change in

our regular routines that we are used to is hard!! I think your

challenge sounds great! I think that I will join you in my same

challenge... :)

Yep. I'll be fine. Just some stiffness in the neck and back. I just realized

Hey...that's a good one! I think I'll join you with that! I was

sitting here wondering what kind of 21DC I wanted to do and I've been

REALLY bad about keeping my food journal lately! I start off really

great each day...writing everything down, but as soon as I get to

dinner and after (which is when I do my mindless eating and snacking)

I totally stop writing it all down! Starting Friday...I will write

EVERYTHING down! And I think I'll continue with the no donut 21DC

since it worked so well and I haven't had a donut

since.....OMG...since May 5th! Holy Cow...that's almost a whole

month :) Who would have known you could survive that long without a

donut...LOL! Now, just let the Fresh, Hot sign never be lit whenever

I pass by...haha!

I've proven to myself that it IS possible to leave a

restaurant WITHOUT dessert. I went to Subway the

other day and didn't get a cookie (or as it use to be

the 3 for $1.00~sounds like a good deal eh)!!!!

Elena,

Can you add me to the 21DC? After several months of being sick, on vacation or

just plain too tired to get up early, I actually got up this morning and TB!

Right now I'm just hoping for 2 days in a row!!! ;-)

that once I start, I don't stop. I started yesterday,

but I will do it officially with everyone starting

You can do it Joan!!! Two days in a row is a great challenge to

yourself. Those baby steps get you a LONG way in the end!! Glad to

Sorry I got 200 emails this morning in my box..

Is the challenge only for alcohol? Can I continue

my candy, and desserts one? I had a piece of cake

yesterday and I want some more this morning..
