I have never found anything as powerful as homemade kefir, milk and waterversions. We make both here. I stopped for two years, long story, just toomany irons in the fire, and recently started back few weeks ago. Our firstmilk grains never did reproduce, kefir so so. These new grains are amazing.A member of the kefir forum sent them for 10, ship and packaging...she probmakes 2 bucks on the deal. These are beautiful grains. I would recommendRae to anyone. If anyone is interested pm me. I'm not selling and get nokick back.For my water grains I found a couple on ebay who love their grains (this isimportant as you get the best grains from kefir lovers). ya da...nada. kefir, whole diff world. But youhave to get kefir grains...not the powdered starter kits they sell in healthfood stores...and not store bought kefir. Making your own kefir is a wholediff world.Xxxrose

I have Kefir grains and could mail some as soon as I have extras. To priority ship them is $5 and two bucks to drive to town to mail them. So, $7 total. I have had these for about a year, and love the creamy kefir I get from them. I bought them locally from a gal who got them online years ago. Dont know how they compare as I have never used any but these. I have shared them with two other people.
