Guest guest
Carey, I used Enbrel for three years and did beautifully on it then had to change to Remicade. Remicade is not working as well as Enbrel did and it is an IV done usually at the out patient hospital unit for me about every 5 week, some folks go as long as 8 weeks. Remicade is much more expensive than Enbre,.$11023. vs. $1100, that is no typo, really over $11,000 is what they charge the insurance company for the Enbrel IV administration! Given the choice i would rather do twice weekly shots of Enbrel but it stopped working for me and I had to move on to something different. We do what we have to.....It did decrease pain, swelling, many other symptoms but I was expecting to feel even better. Selfish huh, lol? Take care and good luck with the decisions, Louise. mncnotenuftime@... wrote: > > Has anyone heard of the drug Remicade? My cap on my prescription plan > has went over on my yearly limit.
