Guest guest
My 9 year old son was diagnosed with OCD back in the summer and has been on 50 mg of Zoloft since September. He responded very well to it along with therapy but in the last couple of weeks we've begun seeing some of the OCD behaviors again. He is worrying about not being able to breathe and taking enormous breaths. He also is beginning to worry about touching things and he's thinking about the possibility of choking on food. These were all things we were dealing with when began taking Zoloft. It's interesting to see how much calmer he is about the worries. He's very willing to talk to me about what is bothering him, how often it happens, etc. without getting agitated. I'm planning to talk to the p-doc about what to do medication wise, but I wanted to run it by the group also. Do you think the Zoloft should be increased? Is this kind of thing common where behaviors that were under control pop up again? I'm pretty new to all this so any knowledge you have would be very helpful. Thanks, in Baltimore
