Guest guest
Hi n, I was reading a little handbook called " Are You Poisoning Your Pets " and it mentioned Alfalfa (best source of chlorophyll), and barley grass, amongst others, to build the immune system of pets. This book was written by Nina and Peiper. The book is published by, SAFE GOODS. I'm not sure they're even around any longer. This was published in 1995. I started giving my animals different types of vegetables and fruits, decades ago....they only things I stay away from are onions, garlic, avocados, grapes and raisins. I personally would try her on some alfalfa sprouts anbroccolili sprouts to see how she enjoys them. I would keep it down to a pinch of each at first to see how she digests them and go from there. I am so glad you mentioned your chia pet sprouting problems....thanks! I was thinking of trying one for the heck of it and now I won't! <LOL> Thanks for the welcome! I hope you're not snowed in right now. We had a fairly big snow earlier this past week but nothing like I'm hearing for the east coast! Happy New Year. ttyl, Ginger There is nothing new under the sun but there are lots of old things we don't know. ~Ambrose Bierce~
