Guest guest Posted September 11, 2009 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 1.There is a formal IMP event a one day mini camp in Boston the day before aafp There are a few spots available ( it is nice and small 25 people max to 2 faculty so very nice) cme 7.25 hrs cost 100.00/person faculty Gordon and Michele Eads Contact me if you wan to attend jnantonuccigmail agenda below 2 I am sure there will be dinners and lunches and hanging out as well. THe aafp has no way to contact people once there so I would say folks should watch email and we can talk to each other more about say where to hang or eat when we get there. AGENDA8 30- 9 30 am Opening Remarks , Welcome L Gordon MD 9 45- 1045 Introduction to IdealMedicalPractices work : Access and Efficiency 10 45—11 45 Introduction to IdealMedicalPractices Work : Care Coordination ,Patient Centered Care and Quality Measurement 11 45-1 lunch Informal 1-3 two small groups work on topics determined by pre conference survey. Topics include access, efficiency ,quality measurement ,patient centered care,basic office flow,alternative models of care and business plans. 3- 3:15 break 3 15- 4 15 goal setting / footprints /problem solving 4 15- 4:45 wrap up questions I thought I saw a blip somewhere about IMPs getting together before the AAFP conference in Boston. Was I seeing things? I thought I saw a survey somewhere...but did not leave a trail of cookie crumbs to find my way back to it.
