Guest guest
Woo Hoo Barb! No worries about Dr. K doing more than one big surgery…..his energy is crazy and according to his office manager, he is a perfectionist! But….you’ll be in my prayers as well! Have fun! New milestones just around the corner….. I have been attending support meetings in Glendale for the last three months and am scheduled for ds surgery on Tuesday, April 20th. As of tonight I am at peace with and looking forward to this next step. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous about the days ahead, but listening to those of you who have been at the support meetings I feel very supported and that I don't need to make this journey alone. I'm asking for your prayers for Dr. K as he works on both and me on Tuesday and I look forward to asking tons of questions as I begin this journey. As for a little about me, I am a mother of 4, two boys and two girls, ages 11-20. Married to a great guy, Tim, for almost 27 years. I teach part time in an elementary school working with students from kindergarten through 5th grade in everything from reading and math intervention to working with students in the gifted and talented program. I guess that's it in a nutshell for me for now. Looking forward to learning about you all and your experiences, Barb

Guest guest
Hello Barbara… Congratulations on your surgery. Ah… Now looking I am late in replying! It is TODAY! Well, you will hopefully read this later. You will be wondering by now if you made the right decision. Let me tell you… it was a decision that will change your life. Your four children will come to know their mother in a whole new way, and your husband Tim will hardly know how to keep up with you in a few month’s time. We’ll be thinking of you through the next few weeks, and when you need some support, drop in to crow about some new accomplishment, cry about some misery, or ask a question. We’ll be here.
