Patti

My dad had watery eyes and a very runny nose - both of which I was told were

common to LBD.

These symptoms persisted throughout. I have no idea when they started. It's

a nuisance!

How are you finding the new drug?

Trusting all is steady.

Hugs to you

teary eyes.

Hi Sharon,

This sounds to me like a LBD thing. My eyes have slightly thick

sticky tears. It makes the skin reddened and sore I think because it

stays wet so much of the time. This sometimes trades off with dry

eyes not so often as it used to. I figure it all has something to do

with the decreased eye blink....Hugs...Patti

Patti, a quick note about this, my MIL has the exact eye drainage.

They started out just very watery and as she has begun to keep her

eyes closed more often it is has thickened considerably. Very sticky

as well. She also has and has had the runny nose problem.

Hi Patti, mum has had that very problem for a few years now, longer

than her diagnosis with LBD. Her nose will also run. Sometimes she

says it is just like water and it gets quite frustrating for her. She

is never without tissues.

When it gets exceptionally watery her eyes have become iriatated and

the doc suggested a very mild cortizone cream to relieve itching and

irritation. It seems to work well for her and you don't need to get a

prescription for it.

Hope this helps,

.

Hi,

My nose takes spells at running and being very watery when it does.

Most of my nasal drainage though goes down the back of my throat and

my nose is always stuffy even when it runs. It is interesting that

Dr. Leiberman is running a survey on this very sort of thing for PD.

I will be anxious to learn the results. Anyway thank

you...Hugs...Patti

Hi ,

Thank you so much. Mine has been ongoing for years now and seems to

be slowly getting worse although it like the other symptoms can be

fluctuating as to the severity of the problem. I have Pantene eye

drops, I think is what they are called, but never remember them until

they get to really bothering me. Anyway it is a prescription. Night

time is bad because I drool, my eyes drain, and secretions build up

in my throat. However I am alive and functioning and that is

wonderful. Hugs...Patti
