140 is still great. I went from 159 to 175. It's happened before but I lost it. It came back- stress eating from divorce, lack of job and just feeling crappy about myself. So I have to lose it. What changes did you make? Was it diet from stress? I can relate if that's what it is. But you can lose it again just like I can and will. Seems hard though. I don't know what's up.

Anyway- I would love to add you on Facebook. I'll see if I can find youHugs

What did you start out at though. I was in a 10 and now I am in a 12 and I am so sad. I need to lose it again but I am a carb addict. SUCKS! I have some functions to go to and my suits don't fit. Can't buy new stuff because I am not working- plus, I want to lose this

Hey there! I am on facebook too. "Medussa"

I have gained a LOT. My highest before GRDS was 295. My lowest after GRDS was 132. I maintained at 142-145 for a couple years. Then injury led to lack of excersize, pain pills (constipation issues), steroid injections, etc., as well as my own depression causing overeating of carbs.....and now I am 211 pounds. I was a size 8-10 and now am a tight size 16!

Talk about depressing. I have tried a lot of stuff to get rid of the weight, but cant seem to lose it.

Going in for a Barium Enema on the 19th, and an endoscopy & colonoscopy on the 22nd this month at the Navy hospital. Hopefully they will find what has been the cause of the painful gut. Hopefully they can get rid of this 'thing' dangling from my anus while they are at it too! (TMI lol).

The meds have a big part of it. They can definitely cause weight gain. Eating right, even without exercise, can bring weight down. I exercise but my eating habits went to s***. I cannot believe how many of us are gaining. I have never heard of this much. What is up with that? Anyone maintaining? Or able to lose? I dont want to be stuck here.

I'm maintaining but I'm only 2 years out. I've lost a couple of pounds by restricting carbs to not more than 40 each day. I only do well when I track my intake. I have also increased my activity, walking a mile a few times a week.

For those of you further out, would you lose by restricitng carbs or do you have to go the low cal/low fat way?
