Guest guest
Although we go through periods where people are Emailing back and forth, arguing about certain topics (vaccinations, religion and certain treatments etc) this is a very informative group and I hope you will stay with us! Remember, you don't have to read every email, you can hit delete and move on to the next one. I do that all the time! But there are some very informative emails on this group from people who are very knowledgeable in the area of autism spectrum disorder. I have learned a lot from being a part of this group and I hope you will too! I thought this was a support group, so I'm not sure if I want to stay on a group that will be bombed with sales posts, so I'd like to know. Thanks. ann>> Jodi and all others with ADD-Autistic kids. Guest guest
Yes, I have found this group to be very informative & helpful. This is the only listserv I'm currently partaking in and for the last several months I've been in it, I've found most of the discussions worthwhile. Yes, I have deleted countless emails in which I have no interest in or seem redundant. The ones with the heated debates in which I really have no opinion either way I simply delete. That's the luxury of emails- no one has to read them all and no one should feel offended if it isn't read or responded to. We all lead very busy and stressful lives as it is so there's no need in adding the stress of feeling offended or feeling like you must read & reply to all emails. Hope you stay and contribute as much or as little as you'd like. :-)Gladys Although we go through periods where people are Emailing back and forth, arguing about certain topics (vaccinations, religion and certain treatments etc) this is a very informative group and I hope you will stay with us! Guest guest
It is a shame that dr Bate is peddling his cures on this list, I too was put off by that at first, then decided to ignore him, delete his posts as annoyance, like ads anywhere. Also he seems to be the only one. I'm new here, and in deciding if I want to remain here, I have to ask: are people who are selling "cures" allowed to join this list and sell their "cures" to the members?
