Guest guest
hello all: last Sunday my father,77, LBD for some years, had a violent outburst of panic and agressivity. All of a sudden he started crying and shouting at same time, telling me and my husband to take him home (he lives with us), his old country house, (actually that sunday we had been there with him), he refused to be showered, he was cursing us, shouting and weeping at same time, strongly grabbing at a door, and firmly decided not to leave from that place...It was a painful and nightmare scene....We did not know what to do to calm him down, I increased his Seroquel from 1 and half to 2 pills (25mg) in the evning( he takes 1 too in the morning). Anyway we had no way to shower him, he calmed down a bit , later, but not totally...His eyes were wide opened and he trembled a lot....Agitated, confused, for some moments he did not even know who I was....I wanted to ask you, what could be the best behavior to adopt in this cases, did you ever find yoursleves in such situations, what is best to do....? I am very scared...
