Guest guest
Hello, My son who is on the spectrum was diagnosed when he was 2 1/2 yrs old. However, he will be 4 in December. Recently he has been going through bouts where he cant fall asleep or stay sleep. It disrupts us as his parents and him because he is in pre-school and needs to have an adequate amount of sleep to function properly. I was told by his neurologist to start giving him Melatonin, which I did. I do not think its working. We have been trying it since May. His doctor suggested Clonidine. I didnt want to just give him anything being that he is still young. What are your thoughts?
