Some folks on the List do use KT on their eyes, but keep in mind that it is

very acidic and could irritate them. Best bet: drink your KT, and if you do

use it on your eyes, dilute it.

What has helped my eyes a lot is Dr. 's Herbal Eyebright, which I

do not sell. To use it, you make some eyebright tea, strain it, and add 10

drops of the tincture to it. Let cool. Then you wipe your eyes six times a

day with the eyebright / tincture solution. It has cayenne in it, which

causes a burning sensation. Nevertheless, cured blindness with

it, and I had good results on the same day from it. For testimonials, see:

http://www.herballegacy.com/id532.htm

The only problem I had was that I noticed 's successors had

watered down the formula, so I added more cayenne and goldenseal to it, and

used eyebright tea as a base.

Hope that helps,

eyes

Someone did post a while back on this... i.e. a few months ago...

Cotton balls soaked in it maybe? Can't remember the details - just that it

was successful... if no one else responds, you may want to check the

archives...

Yes, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) does related liver & eyes... and in

Western, allopathic medicine one hint of jaundice (a liver ailment) is seen by

the yellow color in the eyes...

Good luck!

I have used KT many times in my eyes. I've used it wiped on the eyelid,

and also a drop or two dripped in. I don't know what pinguecula is, so I

can't speak to that per se.

My eyes get gritty feeling and sometimes the only thing that helps is the

KT. In response to this thread coming up previously, someone told a story

of a relative of theirs having gotten a metal shard in their eye, and the

treatment was the doctors used acid to gradually destroy the metal shard,

and it worked, vision saved all that. And the listmembers point was, if

it's safe to use acid that will destroy metal but not the eye, then...

So. Just to let you know I've been doing it. Diluting it, or using milder

KT is a good idea. The full-on vinegar is quite startling to the body. It

will no doubt sting regardless, but it's a good sting for me, not long lasting.

's suggestion of Dr. 's eyebright mixture is good. I

have used it years ago and it really helped me. I just tend to be lazy and

prefer to keep things simple, and if I have KT onhand and my body says,

" gimme " , I have been exploring that.

Just had a thought reading this thread-anybody try putting small pieces of

scoby on their eyes-like instead of cucumber or potato slices?
