Hey....anyone got a Friday Brag?..........

I DO! This morning I did BL11 and then went to an hour and 1/2 long aerobic

class a friend of mine is teaching. I know I will regret this tomorrow, but

what a great workout. She did the cardio, followed by weights and then

floorwork. I just might have to sign up for this class a couple times a

week....the weights felt great~!

Well, that's all. I'm thinking of posting some pix in celebration of my one

year taebo anniversary Monday.....we'll see if I have the guts!!

Caroline, That's Great!!!! Don't worry, whether or not your muscles are sore

tomorrow, you'll still feel great!!! You have now realized how strong your body

is and what you can make it do.

Toni-who now knows that her mind is in control, and with her will, she can make

her body do most anything (within reason).

Well alright then! LOL! I've started going back to the gym twice a week and

my trainer is fabulous!! I've had bad experiences in the past so I was a

little hesitant to go back, but I couldn't ask for a better trainer! Now my

workouts at the gym are fun!! Since my work load more than doubled and I

started back to school, my Tae Bo had slacked off a lot. I'm back in the

swing of things this week though!! I've been getting up at 5:30am so I could

do Tae Bo before work since my evenings are so full now. I'm still

maintaining my 45 pound weight loss (almost 5 months now and that's a new

record for me!) What else?? Oh yea, I got a 92 on my US Government exam.

How's that for brags?? LOL!

Thats wonderful Caroline! :)

I am using weight bracelets for my ankles and

wrists when I workout. I have been doing tae bo

sporadically. I really should get my butt in gear.

I got to my goal and have been slacking off since.

I did Tae bo only once this week. I will try and make

it at least two.

I have a big brag today! I went to trial and done good :) I stood up for

myself and didn't let me ex intimidate me. The judge awarded me another 90

day temporary restraining order. And while not the 3 year final order I was

hoping for, it is still something to celebrate!

Last night I was doing AL10 and I got a glimpse of 's saying " Walk by

faith and not by sight " and it was just the perfect thing to get me through

the night and keep me going!! God is watching out for me!

Thank you guys for all your support. I look forward to getting back to my

real life again and putting this all behind me!

The saying that always inspires me the most is on AL12 (I think??) where

he says " Let everything that comes out of your mouth be positive to you or

someone else " . I LOVE THAT!!!! I am trying to apply that to my life. :)

BTW, congratulations on getting through the trial Colleen! My thoughts are with

you.

Amen Toni!! I agree wholeheartedly. Isn't it wonderful when you come to the

realization that *YOU* are the one who is in control of your own life. Your body

isn't controlling you, and really, your mind isn't either. It's your inner

spirit a.ka. your will (and Higher Power, whatever that may be to you). I've

heard talk about this stuff for years, but it never really sank in. It's

such a revelation when it does! LOL

Way to go, Caroline! That's a LOT of working out, I know it feels good!

Hopefully you're body won't scream at you too much after all of that. That

would be awesome to take a friend's class. You should definitely consider

it, especially if you really like the way she teaches. :)

Awesome, Sandy! Way to go, on the healthy eating and exercise. Why can't I

combine those two things? I'm usually on track with one or the other. Which

technically is probably better but still!! The week I do well with both will

be the week that I won't stop talking about it. You guys will be sick of me.

Hi,

Okay I have been waiting all week for Friday to roll around. Thanks

to Caroline's inspirational photos I have been getting up everyday at

5 am to do the basic live and 8 minute (actually 15 because I timed

it) before the kids get up for school. I just received the getting

ripped II series and love all but one tape. My son and I are now

doing the tae bo impact together.

My second brag is a little off topic. I just joined up with a

personal fitness trainer to help me tighten up my lower stomach and

inner thighs (actually she is on line and lives in Australia). I am

taking control of my eating habits and everyday use my journals for

exercising and eating. Also, I found out my fitness levels (which

are great because of taebo).

I am in charge of me and happy about it!

Congrats on gettin up and doing the basic and the 15

minute er, 8 minute tapes in the AM. Which tape in

the GRII don't you like? Just curious.

Congrats on hooking up with the trainer and getting

Congrats on the one pound.....one pound at a time is a great way to lose them!

Sounds like your fitness level is great! Keep up the good work!

Caroline, who did BL11 today with a 3 mile powerwalk in the cold!

Hi Caroline,

By fitness level, I meant how cardio fit I am. A great way to find

out your fitness level is to step up and down for three consecutive

minutes at one step per second on a 16 inch platform. Right foot up,

left foot up, right foot down, etc. over and over. At the end of the

3 minutes sit for 5 seconds and then take your heart rate for 15

seconds and times it by 4. My heart rate is 120 which is good I am

shooting for 116 which is ideal for women. My new fitness trainer

added on body shopping for me. I work out twice a week weight

training the lower body only plus cardio, one day upper body weights,

and the other three cardio only.

I have lost a whopping one pound in one day!
