A new tape makes a huge difference. The Get Ripped series is good... one of the tapes is awesome! I need a lot of energy on the days I do that tape but I love it! It's just really cool to see so many different types of people in the class. I can't really speak about the other tapes because I only remember what the one advanced workout is like. Yea, someone explained the whole fat/muscle thing to me a while ago... makes perfect sense. I often hear people say that muscle weighs more than fat, I don't really try and correct them because I understand the point they are trying to get across. It's pretty cool, a trainer at my gym showed me a model of lean muscle and then the same weight in fat... THAT was when I truly got it! LOL Sometimes I need a visual aid. It's good to see you posting again! Jenni
Guest guest
I saw the get ripped tapes at Walmart too. I was confused if these were the same tapes that I bought at QVC. The basic set contained an instructional (which I know is different than the impact instructional from the QVC pack) and a basic tape that said getting started on it instead of basic. was on the cover. It was like the blue one in the picture at this link: http://store1.yimg.com/I/taebo_1646_302320 The advanced videos looked different than what I have at home too, but I don't remember exactly. I think the Walmart ones looked like the ones in the picture at the link too. Can anyone confirm or deny that the Walmart ones are different than the QVC ones or are they the same with different covers? I have seen a woman on some tapes as well on the Taebo site. > She looked like , I could be wrong? > > I was going to buy the first set today, but I have changed my mind. Maybe > later. I definitely recommend the Get Ripped tapes for you. Everyone needs variety. I think the woman you are describing is Rieber (sp?), who many of us call Taeboqueen, because she used to answer questions on the main boards under that name (I think). (Instructional excluded) I recall that they are the same tapes as the original Get Ripped series just released with different covers. (Instructional excluded) Kerri, I actually just bought the 2 set of advanced Get Ripped tapes at Wal Mart a couple of days ago because I wanted to make sure they weren't new tapes. The advanced tapes do have different boxes than the ones that we got through QVC, so I thought for a minute that they might actually be new. But, they are the same exact workouts! I'm assuming that the basic workout is also the same!
