I am a parent with a child with the diagnosis of autism and I have a survey I wanted to post from the Champions for Children's Program for parents willing to complete. The survey is going to be designed to find out what are our families needs are and if they are currently being met. Is it ok for me to post. It is disability relevant and anonymous. "Gwendolyn W. Wittmayer" wrote: www.theartofautism.net I bought this book for both my son's teachers. They love it. They are buying the book for other teachers. I bought myself a copy and have lent it out to people. It is a great example of a mother who has fought for her son against all obstacles. When you get the

diagnosis of "Autism" , you may or may not think...."I can't go on from here." This book let's you know that, yes you can. The author, Goodwin, discusses life with a child who has autism. It is one of the most honest books I have ever read. Her journey with Jack continues. Just as all of our journeys continue. More chapters waiting to be written. All of our children need a book. Maybe and Jack's book will give you the courage to speak out in some way. Whether it's through the written word or speech. I really encourage you all from the bottom of my heart to read and Jack's story. Thanks! Wittmayer
